A few things that might help
I cannot find the install option
Open the CRM in the browser recommended above, using a normal browsing window. Links opened inside messaging or email apps may hide the install options.
- Windows: try Chrome’s menu route above. If the app is already installed, look in Start or open
chrome://appsin Chrome. If you installed it with Edge, useedge://appsin Edge instead. - Mac: Safari needs macOS Sonoma 14 or later for Add to Dock. If your Mac supports an up-to-date Chrome browser, you can use the Chrome instructions instead.
- iPhone / iPad: scroll down Safari’s Share menu and check Edit Actions for Add to Home Screen.
- Android: look for Install and create shortcut, Install app or Add to Home screen. Update Chrome if necessary.
If your work device is managed by an IT team, installation may need their help.
I selected “Block” or “Don’t Allow”
Change the permission in your device or browser settings, then reopen the installed app and recheck the dashboard’s notification control. Menu names vary by software version.
| iPhone / iPad | Settings › Notifications › Mortgage Bridge › Allow Notifications. Use the name you gave the app. If it is absent, open the Home Screen app and try enabling notifications from the dashboard first. |
|---|---|
| Android | Check Settings › Notifications › App notifications for Mortgage Bridge and Chrome. In Chrome, also check Settings › Site settings › Notifications for the CRM address. |
| Windows | Open the CRM in the browser you installed it with. Use the site information icon beside the address, open its site permissions and set Notifications to Allow. Also check Windows Settings › System › Notifications for the browser or app. |
| Mac | For the Safari app, check Apple menu › System Settings › Notifications › Mortgage Bridge. For a Chrome installation, also allow notifications for the CRM in Chrome’s site settings. |
Notifications are on, but alerts are not arriving
- Check that the dashboard confirms notifications are on for this device, and that you are signed in to the correct account.
- Check permissions in both the device settings and the browser or installed app.
- Check whether Focus, Do Not Disturb or a notification schedule is silencing alerts.
- Make sure you have an internet connection. On Android, check whether battery-saving settings restrict the app or Chrome.
- During the pilot, keep the desktop app open or minimised while working. Browser background settings, a sleeping computer or a force-stopped app can affect delivery.
Reopen the installed app, recheck the notification status and arrange another notification check with the team. Share your device, browser and a screenshot of the status if it still does not work.
Do I need to download anything from an app store?
You install this version directly from the CRM website using the steps above. A PWA (progressive web app) is the website installed as an app, with its own icon and app window.
Use an internet connection for the CRM and live updates. You may be asked to sign in again when your session expires.
Can I use it on both my laptop and my phone?
Yes. Use your pilot account on both, then install and allow notifications separately on each device. You may receive the same alert on both devices if both have notifications enabled.
If you only want alerts on one device, use the notification control from the device you want to silence and check the resulting status.
